It’s almost basketball season! Join us to get ready for the Kenilworth Park District House League. Each session will focus on a variety of skills and games to help players learn and understand the game better. There will be a focus on skill development, teamwork, and communication.
Dates: Saturdays – 11/04, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9 and 12/16
Week 1: Footwork, triple threat stance, and utilizing jabs and pivots.
Week 2: Shooting and jump stop.
Week 3: Dribbling – passing, and combo moves!
Week 4: Defense – toughness, and rebounding.
Week 5: Footwork & Dribbling
Week 6: Shooting, finishing at the basket (layups).
Week 7: Game Play and contest.
Location: Joseph Sears School Gym
Time: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Ages: K – 3rd Grade
(players will be divided in age and skill level)
Cost: $16 per session or $112.00 for all 7 sessions.
